Detailed dining experience

We made a reservation about three weeks in advance for a Saturday night, which I recommend because it was quite busy. We were seated promptly upon arrival, no real wait. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through the different steak cuts and wine pairings. I ordered the Bone-In Filet, cooked medium-rare, and it was perfectly done, tender and flavorful. My partner had the Grilled Salmon, which they said was also excellent. We also had the Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and the Loaded Baked Potato; both were well-prepared. The atmosphere was classic steakhouse, a bit loud but still pleasant. Service was attentive without being intrusive throughout the meal. Overall, a solid dining experience.

Good steak, quick service

Had the Ribeye and it was delicious. Service was fast even though it was busy. No problems with the order. Enjoyed the meal and the classic ambiance. Will return when in Indianapolis.

Pleasant, with a small hiccup

My recent visit was mostly great. The New York Strip was cooked perfectly to my medium request, and the St. Elmo Seasoning really made it pop. The Navy Bean Soup was also a nice starter. My only minor issue was that our table was a bit close to the kitchen entrance, so there was a little more foot traffic than I would have liked. It wasn't enough to ruin the evening, but it was noticeable. The service was otherwise attentive, and the overall quality of the food and drinks, like the Signature Elmo Cola, was very good. I'd still recommend it, just maybe ask for a table away from high-traffic areas next time.

Shrimp Cocktail is perfection!

Oh my goodness, I finally got to try the world-famous Shrimp Cocktail, and it was incredible! The sauce was spicy and so unique, really just perfect. The shrimp were huge and fresh. I've heard so much about it and it totally lived up to the hype! I can't wait to go back and try a steak next time. Definitely recommending this place to all my friends!

Good value on gift card

I bought a gift card during their holiday promotion and got a bonus card with it, which was a nice perk. It made the overall cost for our dinner feel more reasonable. We used it for a Filet Mignon and some King Crab Mac and Cheese. The food was excellent, and getting that extra value made the splurge feel worthwhile for a special occasion. I'd definitely look for that deal again.

Consistently excellent experience

This wasn't my first time at St. Elmo, and once again, they didn't disappoint. I've been here several times over the years for special events, and the quality of their Prime Rib and the professional service is always top-notch. It's reassuring to know what to expect. My recent visit for a birthday dinner was just as good as previous ones; the Creamed Spinach is still a favorite side. It's why we keep coming back.
